Harrumph.<\/p>\n

Today was one of those days where nothing much happened, thank you very much for asking.<\/p>\n

Of course, we did a cache – when don’t we? Well, tomorrow we won’t because we don’t need to. Playtime At Wyke<\/a> (GC3WJFY) was the cache of choice tonight. A simple little thing stuck to a bench.<\/p>\n

I had the morning out of class, similarly to last Tuesday. This again was to work with colleagues about maths and make final preparations for tomorrow night’s meeting. That is something I’m really not looking forward to. Still, lots of work has gone into it so what could possibly go wrong?! We shall see.<\/p>\n

Other than that, work was fairly uneventful. During the Numeracy Booster session I discovered that it’s much easier to be a millionaire when thinking in Yen, and that my small group of Year 6s are coming along nicely with their mathematical thinking.<\/p>\n

This evening was a quiet one after a brief meeting of a governing sub-committee – the details of which I can’t share here, and, to be frank, you really wouldn’t want to read about it, such is the dullness of these things.<\/p>\n

As the title explains, there was nothing to blog about… very much like April 18th 1930 when\u00a0the BBC<\/a> announced there was no news<\/a>\u00a0during what should have been a 6:30pm radio news bulletin.\u00a0A BBC presenter announced “Good evening. Today is Good Friday<\/a>. There is no news.” It had been apparently judged that nothing newsworthy had happened.\u00a0Piano music was then played instead of the current affairs update for a couple of minutes, before normal scheduling resumed.<\/p>\n
