Another rehearsal in the baking heat for our Summer Concert this morning, followed by a brief brush up of some of the songs which we are finding tricky at the moment. All will be well come Wednesday evening though, I&#8217;m sure. The afternoon was full of good discussion about <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Victorian era\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Victorian_era\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Victorian<\/a> attitudes then more work on their homework presentations which need to be completed by Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The evening saw me take a trip back to Millbridge to support Mrs Pitts as she guided the Year 5 and 6 children through their performance of The Lemonade Kid. They were lovely and it was a little strange to see some of the children who were in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Year Three\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Year_Three\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Year 3<\/a> as I left appear quite grown up compared to when I left them. That&#8217;s not something I normally get to see, and since moving schools I haven&#8217;t had any such continuity at all as no one has left <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Gomersal\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gomersal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Gomersal<\/a> in a few years as they made the switch from First &amp; <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Nursery school\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nursery_school\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Nursery school<\/a> to a full <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Primary education\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Primary_education\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Primary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, we finished the day with a cache, GC4EJYM, in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Roberttown\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roberttown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Roberttown<\/a>. It had a difficulty rating of 2.5 an a terrain rating of 3 and is only the 4th such cache we have found with that combination.<\/p>\n<p>I saw on a fellow cacher&#8217;s blog a Geocaching Achievements page &#8211; I quite like the gathering of information like that in one place so may implement it over the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Summer vacation\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Summer_vacation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">summer break<\/a>. 6 teaching days left&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"zemanta-pixie\" style=\"margin-top: 10px; height: 15px;\"><a class=\"zemanta-pixie-a\" title=\"Enhanced by Zemanta\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zemanta.com\/?px\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"zemanta-pixie-img\" style=\"border: none; float: right;\" alt=\"Enhanced by Zemanta\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/img.zemanta.com\/zemified_e.png?w=1165\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a good day in school.
