{"id":20478,"date":"2013-06-27T23:00:19","date_gmt":"2013-06-27T23:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wp\/?p=20478"},"modified":"2013-06-27T23:00:19","modified_gmt":"2013-06-27T23:00:19","slug":"day-178-pre-silverstone-things","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thomasjpitts.co.uk\/wordpress\/2013\/06\/27\/day-178-pre-silverstone-things\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 178: Pre-Silverstone Things"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a quick day at work, tying up loose ends before having the afternoon for PPA time and Friday for the Grand Prix &#8211; this is a long standing arrangement, miss a few PPAs in order to take a day out of class.<\/p>\n<p>This afternoon and evening, apart from band, has been hectic. Getting the house tidy for Mrs Pitts&#8217; sister to come and cat sit took up lots of the evening, but also making sure Cappy and Kit had everything they needed too.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m very excited about the next three days, I&#8217;m sure the memories of nine years ago will come flooding back once I&#8217;m there. Although there have been many changes to the circuit in that time. Becketts will be somewhere I spend a fair amount of time I think, along with the ends of the two main straights, Hangar and Wellington. I remember how awesome the braking power of the cars were &#8211; that and the noise!<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the laptop is coming with me and I intend to blog as normal before bed.
