I&#8217;ll end up watching sessions 1 and 2 live, but a Grange Moor Band job will mean that I have to miss Q1 live and watch that on replay afterwards. After 4 rounds, it&#8217;s probably time to look at the qualifying battle so far in terms of inter-team rivalries:<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifying head-to-head<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Vettel 4 &#8211; 0 Webber<br \/>\nAlonso 2 &#8211; 2 Massa<br \/>\nButton 4 &#8211; 0 Perez<br \/>\nRaikkonen 4 &#8211; 0 Grosjean<br \/>\nRosberg 1 &#8211; 3 Hamilton<br \/>\nHulkenberg 4 &#8211; 0 Gutierrez<br \/>\nDi Resta 3 &#8211; 1 Sutil<br \/>\nMaldonado 2 &#8211; 2 Bottas<br \/>\nVergne 1 &#8211; 3 Ricciardo<br \/>\nPic 3 &#8211; 1 <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Giedo van der Garde\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Giedo_van_der_Garde\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Van der Garde<\/a><br \/>\nBianchi 4 &#8211; 0 Chilton<\/p>\n<p>Vettel, Button, Hulkenberg and Bianchi all hold unbeaten records so far. Once again,\u00a0tyres are a major talking point and Pirelli has brought its hard and medium compounds this weekend.\u00a0The BBC reports that technical chief <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Pat Fry\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pat_Fry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Pat Fry<\/a> has been taken to hospital with a kidney stone complaint, which has led to a rearrange on the Ferrari pit wall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifying 1<\/strong>: The usual wait that has plagued 2013 qualifying so far resumes. 5 minutes before the first cars appear on track. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Daniel Ricciardo\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/danielricciardo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"twitter\">Daniel Ricciardo<\/a> sets the first time, a lap of 1m24.100s, this is quickly improved upon by <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Jean-\u00c9ric Vergne\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jean-%C3%89ric_Vergne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Jean-Eric Vergne<\/a> who completes a circuit in a time of 1m23.467s. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kimi_R%C3%A4ikk%C3%B6nen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Kimi Raikkonen<\/a> knocks that down to 1m23.087s with half the session to go. With seven minutes left, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Fernando Alonso\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fernando_Alonso\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Fernando Alonso<\/a> would take the fastest time to 1m22.264s only to be beaten by <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Nico Rosberg\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nico_Rosberg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Nico Rosberg<\/a> who pushes it further to a 1m21.913s. Lewis Hamilton surges to the front with a time of 1m21.728s with 3 minutes left. 18 minutes in, and finally all 22 drivers have set a time. The last\u00a0section\u00a0of the session sees much on track action but cars are struggling to improve as the track is quite busy. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Pastor Maldonado\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pastor_Maldonado\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Pastor Maldonado<\/a>, the winner of this race last year, is one on the drivers to be eliminated as both Williams cars are taken out of qualifying; Vatteri Bottas missed out on the next session by just 0.042s.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"17\">\n<li><a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Valtteri Bottas\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Valtteri_Bottas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Valtteri Bottas<\/a>, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Williams F1\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Williams_F1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Williams-Renault<\/a>, 1m23.260s<\/li>\n<li>Pastor Maldonado, Williams-Renault, 1m23.318s<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Giedo van der Garde\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Giedo_van_der_Garde\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Giedo van der Garde<\/a>, Caterham-Renault, 1m24.661s<\/li>\n<li>Jules Bianchi, Marussia-Cosworth, 1m24.713s<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Max Chilton\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/maxchilton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"twitter\">Max Chilton<\/a>, Marussia-Cosworth, 1m24.996s<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Charles Pic\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_Pic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Charles Pic<\/a>, Caterham-Renault, 1m25.070s<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Qualifying 2<\/strong>: Another slight delay to the on track action again. This is so frustrating. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Esteban Guti\u00e9rrez\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Esteban_Guti%C3%A9rrez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Esteban Gutierrez<\/a> is the first person to take to the track. His impressive time of 1m22.910s is swiftly beaten by <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Nico H\u00fclkenberg\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nico_H%C3%BClkenberg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Nico Hulkenberg<\/a> and Kimi Raikkonen, the bar dropping to 1m22.210s. 8 minutes into the 15 minute session, and Fernando Alonso takes to the head of the times going around in 1m21.646s. With 6 minutes left, all 16 drivers have now posted a time. Vergne, Perez, di Resta, Sutil, Button and Ricciardo are in the drop zone. With just over a minute and a half left, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Sebastian Vettel\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sebastian_Vettel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Sebastian Vettel<\/a> sets the fastest time of 1m21.602s. There wasn&#8217;t really a gap before the cars went out in this ten minute session. Raikkonen presents the others with the first challenge, setting an initial pole time of 1m21.539s, this is beaten by 7 tenths of a second by Nico Rosberg who posts a time of 1m20.824s. Di Resta pits the car after one lap of the circuit, setting no time. After half the session, only Rosberg, Alonso, Massa, Grosjean and Raikkonen have set a time. All 10 drivers are on track with 2 minutes of the session left, di Resta being the last man out and\u00a0therefore\u00a0will be the last man across the line.
