I’m still amazed I’ve made it this far into this project. I have never kept something up for so long before.<\/p>\n

Today was reasonable. Work was its usual thing, with the afternoon for PPA time during which I\u00a0completed\u00a0many smaller jobs that had been niggling away at me for the school’s website. There is one more job I wish to do on there which I haven’t quite got the hang of yet, so that’ll be something I need to organise over the weekend.<\/p>\n

This weekend sees the second of the Grands Prix happening in Malaysia<\/a>. And, having had a think about the previous race in Australia, I want to discuss stand out drivers for me.<\/p>\n

Kimi Raikkonen<\/a>, Fernando Alonso<\/a>, Jenson Button<\/a>, Lewis Hamilton<\/a>, Paul di Resta<\/a>, Adrian Sutil<\/a> and Jules Bianchi<\/a> all stood out from the rest for me.<\/p>\n

You may think it’s odd that 8 drivers can make an impact, but the more I think about it, the more they do.<\/p>\n

Obviously Raikkonen’s victory makes him a key player in the race.<\/p>\n

Alonso, although outqualified by Felipe Massa<\/a>, drove a very good race and beat Sebastian Vettel<\/a> fair and square overall.<\/p>\n

Jenson Button only finished 9th, and had he not begun his 3rd qualifying session so early may have finished even higher as e may have started the race in a stronger position.<\/p>\n

Lewis Hamilton had a bit of a wild weekend, but did well to get a 5th on his\u00a0d\u00e9but\u00a0for a new team.<\/p>\n

Paul di Resta qualified 9th and finished 8th, so at least made progress in the race. He didn’t fair as well as his team mate due to the rule where he had to begin on used tyres.<\/p>\n

Adrian Sutil lead the race due to his starting place of 12 (drivers outside the top 10 can begin the race on any tyres rather than being forced to use the ones they qualified on). Leading the race doesn’t reflect the quality of the car, but it’s still an impressive achievement.<\/p>\n

Jules Bianchi was relatively anonymous. However, he began 19th and ended 15th and completed his fastest lap at the same pace as Vettel. Impressive.<\/p>\n

I’m once again looking forward to a race weekend. I’m hoping the weather doesn’t cause any disruptions. I’m too tired!<\/p>\n

Speaking of weather\u00a0disruptions, today is\u00a0technically\u00a0the first day of spring and yet this is what the BBC’s weather forecast for tomorrow looks like where I live:<\/p>\n
