Both Ferrari<\/a> and Force India<\/a> showed off their 2013 challengers.<\/p>\n Ferrari<\/strong><\/p>\n This Ferrari is the 59th grand prix single-seater produced by the team. Unusually, the F138 wasn’t developed wholly at their own facility in Maranello but in the Toyota windtunnel in Cologne after realising that work was needed to improve their tunnel. Like other cars so far, particularly the Lotus,\u00a0the F138 appears to be an evolution of last year’s F2012.<\/p>\n Some changes have been made at the back of the car to allow the exhaust layout to be changed. Quite strikingly, the air intake above the cockpit and the sidepod intakes have also been revised.<\/p>\n Ferrari, like McLaren, are in a bit of a lean spell title wise having had four years without a title.<\/p>\n According to Autosport.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n Ferrari is seeking to hit the ground running with its new car after a dismal performance by its predecessor when it made its\u00a0testing\u00a0d\u00e9but\u00a0last year.<\/p>\n Despite that, the historic Italian outfit managed to stay in the championship fight until the end of the year, with Spaniard Fernando Alonso losing out to Red Bull rival Sebastian Vettel<\/a> in the final race of the season in Brazil.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Force India<\/strong><\/p>\n Let me begin by saying it’s quite worrying that one of the photos released hides the majority of the car… others do show it in full though.<\/p>\n The fourth 2013 car to be\u00a0unveiled belongs to Force India, the Silverstone<\/a>-based squad who finished 2012 seventh in the constructors’ championship. Indeed Nico Hulkenberg<\/a> fought for victory in the Brazilian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n However, Hulkenberg is now at Sauber (who reveal their car tomorrow), and Force India is yet to reveal who will partner Paul di Resta this year. It looks like a tidy car, and I hope it does well enough to allow them to score some podiums once again.
