Well today was my birthday (still is, in fact, as I type). My cake, made by the wonderful Mrs Pitts, is below.<\/p>\n

The cake was a clue to the main present. The day consisted of opening presents, eating food, eating cake and eating more cake. I am now the proud owner of two beautiful canvases<\/a> featuring the images below from our wedding day.<\/p>\n

Mrs Pitts also bought me a frame with four photos from our pre-wedding shoot at Oakwell Hall<\/a> and, the highlight, tickets to the British Grand Prix in July. The tickets haven’t been booked yet, as we are trying to work out where to sit. I last visited Silverstone for the 2004 British Grand Prix<\/a> but the circuit has altered dramatically since then. In fact, it has changed significantly over the years, as these images show.<\/p>\n

At the moment, I’m thinking Village will be a good place to sit, although Luffield is attractive too! It’ll be a wonderful weekend, and I’m really looking forward to it!<\/p>\n
