As a profession, I teach at a fairly local school and spend one day a week working for a local Maths Hub, but outside of that life, there are many things that I love to do. Formula 1 has been my favourite sport for a long time. My interest coincided with the end of the 1993 season, although I don’t really remember much of that. From 1994 onwards, I can say that I’ve seen the vast majority of races and the dark weekend of San Marino that year is embedded in my brain forever. In both 2004 and 2013 I was fortunate enough to get to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and would love to visit again in the future.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The outdoor hobby of Geocaching entered my life in 2010 and Mrs Pitts and I have tried to make time for that whenever we can. It would be lovely to get out and do it more often, truth be told. Through that we have met some lovely people and made some good friends.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Music has long been a part of my life, having played the violin since I was 8 – although I would be very rusty if you asked me to play right now. I now conduct the Morley And District Concert Band as well as playing percussion with Grange Moor Brass Band. I have also supported Knottingley Silver Band, Tingley Brass Band, Skelmanthorpe Brass Band and Meltham & Meltham Mills Band.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
